With only 9 rooms to preserve its intimacy and authenticity, this small-scale hotel uses pure Polynesian traditional building materials and techniques. Hotel Vahine Island offers 3 types of lodging: 3 over-water "farés" (local style bungalows) on the lagoon, 3 beach "farés", and 3 deluxe suite "farés". Over-water farés have glass bottom aquarium tables with special lighting for night observation and also allows fish feeding. All rooms offer excellent views of the lagoon and Bora Bora island. |
