This self-drive itinerary takes you through the
enchanting region of Normandy. Start out with a visit to Giverny,
Monet's home and gardens, then discover the impressive city of Rouen
with its famous cathedral. Stay in the picturesque fishing village
of Honfleur, which inspired many impressionist artists and from
there discover the C�te Fleurie and its resort town of Deauville.
Visit lovely Lisieux, then on to Bayeux and its world-famous
tapestry. Explore the Normandy beaches of the D-Day landings,
followed by a visit to the Museum of Peace in Caen. Finish the tour
staying inside the spectacular Mont St.Michel, the 12th-century
abbey and village, clinging to the top of a rocky island.
